Last week, Dodge SRT formally released the first images of this sinister-looking 2019 Challenger Hellcat. Crowned with a retro-inspired hood which includes enormous air intakes, the age-old published Challenger Hellcat has been poised to pay homage to the traditional ’60s and ’70s muscle cars of the past.
But what should you prefer your American Muscle together with four doors instead of two? Fret not as Dodge SRT is also working in the 2019 Charger Hellcat. In actuality, they have only recently released the first teaser photo of the mighty four-door.
What is new on the 2019 Charger Hellcat? For starters, it will get a revised front end courtesy of a fresh air intake. Much like the Challenger from a week, ” Dodge SRT gave the Charger a new ‘nostril’ that will suck more air in for the supercharger. While we only see one aspect of the front end receiving the new consumption, it is highly possible that the other side of the Charger Hellcat will even get the large ‘nostril’ upgrade.
Also receiving a revision will be the front grill since it no longer dons a net layout. On the contrary, it now has a honeycomb-like complete that’s painted gloss black. Other changes the Charger Hellcat might receive include a brand new hood, restyled headlights and perhaps more aggressive-looking front and back bumpers.
The supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 may also allegedly receive a bulge in power, among other things. From 707 PS, it’s rumored that the upgraded Hellcat will turn out 725 PS and can get ‘Demon’-derived technologies like the Air-Chiller, TransBrake and broad Nitto tires as such.
More information about the refreshed Challenger and Charger Hellcats is going to be shown in the forthcoming months.
